Results show increased pay for athletic trainers

 

NATA has released the results of its 2008 athletic training salary survey, and salaries are on the rise nationwide.

In December

Stanford University event features NATA president

      Stanford University will be closing out 2008 on "The
      Farm" with an exciting new event on Dec. 3 featuring
      NATA President Marje Albohm. Albohm will answer
      questions and offer insight about issues and exciting
      developments in the athletic training profession.


      Admission is complimentary for certified athletic
      trainers, and CEUs will be awarded.

To register, contact Kevin Robell by Nov. 7.  Those who can’t attend can still participate by submitting questions via e-mail to Robell by Dec.1.


 

NATA, APTA meet in Washington, DC

NATA legal counsel initiated a meeting with the APTA legal team, CEO, and President Scott Ward. The meeting took place on Wednesday, Sept. 24 in Washington, DC.  Marje Albohm, Eve Becker-Doyle and Paul Genender represented the NATA. The meeting was cordial and opened lines of communication between the two groups. Follow up will occur between legal counsel for NATA and APTA.  We will keep you informed of any further developments.
