Aquaculture
In 2004 acqualture was a $28 M industry and ranked number 5 among the diversified
agriculture industries in Hawai‘i. Although most of the extension work in aquaculture
is done through the Sea Grant Extension program, CTAHR partners with Sea Grant on
the island of Hawai‘i and shares personnel and other resources.

Sea Grant Extension
The UH Sea Grant Extension program develops and supports research, outreach, and
