The United States is one of the world's largest pork producers and a major player in the world pork market. Frequently the largest pork exporting country, it is also a top importer. ERS provides market analysis on the domestic and world pork markets, including domestic supply and utilization, farm and retail pork prices, and international trade.

Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry Outlook—This report provides a monthly analysis of current developments in the livestock, poultry, and aquaculture industries. Aquaculture products are featured commodities at least twice a year.

The Changing Economics of U.S. Hog Production—The increasing size and specialization of hog operations reflect structural change in U.S. swine production during the past 15 years. Large operations that specialize in a single production phase and produce under contract have replaced traditional farrow-to-finish operations.
