14. Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

Thank you for sending me Issue No.5, January 1996 of The Australian New Crops Newsletter, which I found very informative and I enjoyed reading it. On page 21 of that issue, you published information on The Amaranth Newsletter which we publish.

Your editorial was of particular interest to me, since we started the publication on Amaranth with economic support and everything was easy. Ever since 1992 we could no longer publish on our time schedule, since subscription funds were not received. We are now two years behind publication schedule, which is bad for the Newsletter, in spite of the fact that we receive enough articles for publication. One problem is that the Newsletter is too specific, only one crop.

I hope you succeed in forming the New Crops Research and Development Association for continuity of your Newsletter. I also hope we can exchange the Newsletter, and it would be nice to receive issues 1-4 for our library ,if possible.
