What You Can Do

Calculate Your Emissions

The first step in reducing your emissions from driving is learning about your personal contribution to the carbon dioxide (CO2) content of the air. EPA has developed tools to help individuals (and households) reduce greenhouse gas emissions and take action. Businesses and organizations interested in educating their employees and members about what they can do at home to help protect our climate can also use these tools. By using this personal emissions calculator, you can estimate your personal greenhouse gas emissions or your family’s greenhouse gas emissions, including emissions from driving.
