Poultry and Eggs: Market Outlook

Contents

ERS contributes to both shortrun and longrun poultry and egg market outlook activities. ERS's monthly Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry Outlook provides the monthly and quarterly poultry meat and egg market outlook. ERS—with the Farm Service Agency (FSA), National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), and the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS)—develops USDA's monthly World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report. WASDE provides monthly updates of quarterly estimates for supply, use, exports, and prices for broilers, turkeys, and eggs. The longrun outlook for the poultry and egg market is provided in USDA's Agricultural Baseline Projections.
