Lederman Science Education Center
Named for Fermilab's second director and Nobel Prize winner Leon M. Lederman, the Science Education Center is the focal point for education at Fermilab. The Center houses hands-on exhibits for visitors and laboratories for class study in both physics and prairie ecology. More than 20,000 students come to Fermilab every year. The building also serves as a resource and training center for teachers from around the country.
