Special Projects

Partnerships with federal, state and local governmental agencies, other nonprofits, water districts, and private industry allow the Foundation to raise awareness and funds to support ongoing programs as well as special, one-time projects. These one-time projects include radio educational service announcements and major documentaries. Grants can also help finance special educational projects that can then be made available free to the public and help the Foundation promote its mission.

Creative fundraising projects such as our on-line auction help to finance our Water Leaders program and help diversify our funding sources.
