Transportation Conformity Training and Workshops
EPA's Office of Transportation and Air Quality (OTAQ) has provided multiple conformity training sessions in the past to assist state and local governments in implementing conformity requirements. OTAQ is not hosting any training sessions at this time. As training information is prepared for other venues, it will be posted on this page.
Other sources for transportation conformity training or workshops covering transportation conformity issues include:
- National Transit Institute’s Introduction to Transportation Conformity
This course presents basic information about conformity requirements and the relationship of the transportation and air quality planning processes in order to prepare agency staff (federal, state, and local) to participate in interagency and consultation and work effectively in implementing conformity requirements. This course was developed by the FTA and FHWA in consultation with EPA. - National Highway Institute’s Estimating Regional Mobile Source Emissions
The focus of this training course is to develop the skills of planners and practitioners responsible for estimating mobile source emissions so that they can incorporate these techniques into practice in their areas. This course has been developed by DOT in coordination with EPA. - Northern Transportation and Air Quality Summit (NTAQS 2008)
