How?   Meeting was open to the public, and paper copies of documents that were peer reviewed were available to the public at the review meeting. Public was allowed to make comments throughout the meeting.

When?  The Data-Poor Working Group meeting, scheduled for July 9-12, 2007 was open to the public and the public was permitted to make comments during the meeting.

Will the agency provide significant and relevant public comments to the peer reviewers before they conduct their review? no

Primary disciplines or expertise needed in the review:  Fishery stock assessment (use of research surveys, commercial fishery data, and other relevant studies to understand past and to project future trends in the population while a fishery is taking place), biology and ecology, population dynamics and modeling (use of mathematical models to describe the population dynamics of actual stocks that are being fished).
