Welcome to the home of AGWA, a GIS-based hydrologic modeling tool. Currently, AGWA is available as AGWA 2.0 for ESRI's ArcGIS 9.x and AGWA 1.5 for ESRI's ArcView 3.x.

  • 10/01/2008 - New AGWA 1.5 and AGWA 2.0 updates and unified Datafiles directory structure between AGWA 1.5 and 2.0.
    • AGWA 1.5 (Build 20081001) includes:
      • -Edits to comply with new unified Datafiles directory structure.
    • AGWA 2.0 (Build 20080930) includes:
      • -Support for SWAT2005;
      • -Additional error trapping and bug fixes.

  • 09/21/2008 - New AGWA 1.5 update.
    • AGWA 1.5 (Build 20080921) includes:
      • -Additional error trapping that requires AGWA environment variable to be set;
      • -A Cleans up the workflow through the delineation dialog;
      • -A bug fix that occurs when look-up tables were chosen without a CROP field for SWAT;
      • -Various bugs fixes in the SSURGO tool involving importing and merging of spatial and tabular datasets;
      • -Bug fixes in the random vegetation type dialog of the LCMT that prevents look-up tables from being selected;
      • -Routing problem fix with SWAT associated with internal gages;
      • -Conversion fix from Runoff (m^3) to Runoff (mm) for KINEROS results;
      • -Rock calculation bug fix that occurred when no rock was present in the soils.

  • 12/18/2007 - New AGWA 2.0 update.
    • AGWA 2.0 (Build 20071218) includes:
      • -Removal of Service Pack requirements for installations in all versions;
      • -SWAT N and P results visualization;
      • -Soils parameterization bug fix for SSURGO and the new version of STATSGO;
      • -Land cover and soils parameterization bug fix for large datasets.

  • 11/16/2007 - AGWA 2.0 is now publicly available (registration required) for download. To meet our promised release deadline, not all features from AGWA 1.5 have been included, however they will be rolled out over the next several weeks. Keep checking back for more updates!

  • 11/09/2007 - The AGWA website has been relaunched. The new website requires user registration (valid email required) before the Downloads can be accessed or posts can be made in the Help Forum.

  • 03/31/2006 - Version 1.5 beta for ArcView 3.x is now available! Be sure to update your DATAFILES, GISDATA, MODELS and MANUAL downloads for the new version.
    • BASINS-AGWA Users - Please note that BASINS-AGWA does not support the most current releases (1.5 or 1.42c). We recommend downloading the newest version of AGWA to take advantage of the new features and other improvements. (Spatial datasets for use in AGWA can still be obtained through the BASINS Data Extension.)
