The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service awarded
more than $1.4 million in funding for 18 projects under the Technical Assistance
for Specialty Crops (TASC) program. The funds, awarded in fiscal year 2007, help
U.S. exporters address technical barriers that threaten exports of U.S.
specialty crops.
For more information on the TASC program, contact FAS’ Ed Covey at (202)
720-0866 or Nancy Hirschhorn at (202) 720-6896.
