NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio

The NOAA Weather Radio transmitter located in Morgan City, Louisiana, was destroyed during Hurricane Gustav on Labor Day weekend. A temporary tower, operating at a lower height and power, has been put into place. We hope to have the permanent tower repaired and fully operational by the end of December 2008.
