Soil Data Delivery and Distribution

The Soil Survey Division and ITC have begun work on the analysis and design of an information system for delivering and distributing official soil survey data. Currently this is thought of as the soil data warehouse. The following are information for the delivery of soil data.

Tutorial

Metadata

Metadata are the definitions of the database structures for NASIS and its related databases. This includes the structure of each table, data element definitions, lists of codes, and relationship information.

Soil Survey Schedule

These files contain the user manuals for the Web-accessible Soil Survey Schedule data entry and reporting system, and for the Soil Survey Schedule management features in NASIS.
