Catalog for stock number, descriptive title, and unit of issue.
Return items for credit by forwarding order delivery copy of a Stock Requisition,
with the material to be returned to the Gaither Distribution Center, Gaithersburg,
MD.

To order compressed gases, solvents, inflammable or volatile chemicals,
stocked in chemical stores, Gaither Distribution Center, Gaithersburg,
MD, place orders through the New Business System (NBS). For more information call 301-496-3395.

When compressed gas cylinders are empty or are no longer needed, place them in a designated location within you building (i.e. elevator lobby, platform, or other location) for pickup by the cylinder
truck. If cylinders are not picked up promptly or if you require special
service to avoid charges on contractor-owned cylinders, call chemical
storage unit, 301-496-1160 or 301-496-9156.
Requests for the NIH Supply Catalog, or any changes to the existing distribution
list now maintained by Supply Management OA/OD/OLAO/DLS, must be requested
by memorandum from the principal IC Administrative Officer to the Chief,
Stock Management Branch, OA/OD/OLAO/DLS and GDC/310. Requests should be by
job title (no names please), Institute/Branch/Section/Lab., building and
room number, and number of copies requested.
