Sally Field has had a show business career that spans more than four decades, during which she's won two Oscars, three Emmys, and two Golden Globes. Now she's up for another Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama, and we'll see whether or not she takes home her third Golden Globe for her role in Brothers and Sisters this Sunday, January 11.

In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to check out some of the fashions Sally Field has worn to award ceremonies. In 2008 she seemed to favor black, and although it's flattering on her, I like some of her more colorful dresses even better. She glowed in a deep pink strapless dress at the Emmys in 2007, so I hope she selects another stunner to wear for the Golden Globes.

During her show today, petite celebrity cook Rachael Ray said that she wears the clothing on her popular daytime show only once for the show. For personal time, she prefers more casual clothing, and she mentioned that she hangs out in pj's at home.

Rachael Ray's on-air wardrobe is selected by her stylist Jane Harrison-Fox. So what happens to all those clothes? According to Jane Harrison-Fox, Rachael's staff gets to shop her clothes at a special sale with the proceeds going to Rachael's charity Yum-O! In a new twist, viewers can now bid on some of Rachael Ray's clothing too. New Year's Eve party wear often means shimmer and shine. With New Year's Eve parties only a few days away, you may be wondering whether or not a petite woman can carry off a metallic dress. As long as the dress stars and doesn't compete with glitzy accessories, there's no reason not to go for some suitable sparkle to welcome in the New Year.
