The latest update for Steam allows users to surf the Web with an overlay Web browser while still in the game. It even seems to work with many non-Steam games as long as they are launched through Steam. Of course, the overlay browser is very basic, but I can imagine it saving some people a lot of Alt-Tabbing.

Funcom has announced that later this week they will be shutting down 31 of the 48 Age of Conan servers currently available, as detailed in a recent forum post. As always, it's a sign that a game's player base is dwindling, but having more players on each server will be an improvement for those that are sticking with it.
