Disclaimer: The data sets representing High Population Areas, Other Populated Areas, and Commercially Navigable Waterways are derived from the Pipeline Integrity Management in High Consequence Areas rulemaking [IMP Rulemaking]. The current layers for High Population Areas(HPA) and Other Populated Areas (OPA) are based on 2000 Census geographic data.

Description: Derived from Bureau of Transportation Statistics National Waterways Network database [BTS National Waterways Network], excluding all non-commercial routes designated as no-traffic, non-navigable, and/or for special vessels such as fishing, power, and recreational boats. The PDF ZIP archive contains one PDF map of the Commercially Navigable Waterways.
Scale: Variable - see included metadata.
Installation: ArcInfo Export files can be imported into ESRI ArcInfo using the Arc IMPORT command with the COVER option. ArcView shapefiles can be used with numerous GIS applications.  Open PDF's with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
