Laura the Atlanta Guide has lived in Atlanta for 12 years, including stints both inside and outside the Perimeter.

Laura is a freelance writer and marketing professional. Her focus area is travel and leisure.

She has worked on staff for Visit Florida, The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and The Chick-fil-A Bowl and is a contributing writer for Dining Out Atlanta. In these roles she was tasked with finding new and creative ways to attract visitors to locations, events and attractions.

Laura holds a degree in Public Relations from The School of Communications at Florida State University.
