SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM!
The Deschutes National Forest hosts up to eleven qualified seniors every year who help out with a variety of field and clerical tasks. They receive Oregon State minimum wage and work an average of 20 hours a week while receiving on the job training with the goal of building up their skills to the point where they can find employment at a higher income level within their local community.
