Performance Tips
User selections, the time of day, and the
number of other requests being processed will affect
WISQARSTM
response
time. Requests using output groups require significantly more
resources than those that do not. By restricting the age range,
response time may be improved.
The suggested screen resolution for
optimal
WISQARSTM
charts and graphs are 1024 X 768 pixels.
WISQARS uses window pop-ups; for optimal performance, please
disable any Web browser pop-up blockers.

Printing Tips
Although the appearance of information printed from the web varies considerably from user to user, you can make a
printed version more useful by considering these tips:
- If the information does not conveniently fit on one page,
you can decrease the font size. To decrease the font size in
your browser,
Internet Explorer
- Click on "View."
- Select "Text Size."
- Select "Smallest."
Netscape Navigator
- Click on "View."
- Select "Decrease Font".
- When you print, if the information is cut off on the
right side of the paper, then you need to tell your printer to use landscape
mode (i.e., to print on the paper horizontally rather than vertically).
Internet Explorer
- Click on "File."
- Select "Page Setup."
- Select "Landscape."
Netscape Navigator
- Click on "File."
- Select "Print."
- Select "Properties."
- Select "Landscape."
- The
printer-friendly version of leading causes tables is
tailored for black and white. If you want a color
version of a leading causes table, print the standard view
of the report--do NOT use the printer-friendly version.
