Tom Hofeller is the Associate Administrator for Operations and Management for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency. He is responsible for overseeing the Agency's administrative, management and internal control functions.
Prior to being Associate Administrator, Mr. Hofeller served as the Director of the Office of Business and Program Integration for FSA and provided leadership and direction in the areas of economic analysis, outreach programs, strategic planning and the Agency's eGovernment initiatives.
During his career, Mr. Hofeller served as Staff Director on the U.S. House Subcommittee on the Census and as a staff member on the U.S. House Committee on House Oversight. He is the former Director of Administration of the Partes Corporation, a software development firm that was based in Washington State. Mr. Hofeller was also the co-founder and Associate Director of the Rose Institute of State and Local Government at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California. He has also served as IT director for the Republican National Committee.
From 1965-1969, Mr. Hofeller served in the United States Navy. In 1970, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Claremont McKenna College. He received a doctorate in Government from Claremont Graduate University in 1980.
