Following the success of the 2003 Western Hemisphere Migratory Species Conference, the country representatives and stakeholder participants committed to continue the momentum of the effort, following-up on the needs identified at the meeting and continuing discussions concerning further opportunities to work together. Since then, news regarding progress on WHMSI implementation has been communicated through periodic updates.
