Public Connect is MMS's on-line commenting system designed to give you - the citizens we serve - expanded access to regulatory and planning information for its Offshore Minerals Management (OMM) Program. Public Connect allows you to search, view, and electronically submit comments on OMM's proposed regulations, lease sales notices, operational plans, environmental reports, and related documents that are currently open for comment in the Federal Register. Public Connect also allows you to search and view comments and/or related documents after the commenting period closes.

If you are just browsing, it is best to use the "Projects Open for Comment" feature which lists all open items. To locate projects on which you would like to comment, please choose one of the following options using the menu located in the upper right corner of this screen.

1. QUICK SEARCH: The quickest way to search is by a Project or Document ID or Title. Provides a one-step key word search across multiple fields for a particular project, document or comment.
2. ADVANCED SEARCH: Allows users to find projects using several specific search criteria.
3. SUBMIT COMMENT SEARCH: Allows users to locate the project or document on which they want to comment by entering key words.
4. PROJECTS OPEN FOR COMMENT: Provides a list of all projects open for comment.
