Thanks to Swets Info Services

DGI thanks  Swets Information Services  for sponsoring the October 23rd gathering of SLA/DGI, ALA/GODORT, and DC/SLA members in Washington, DC.  With the support of Swets, attendees warmed up around a buffet of coffees, chocolates, and cheeses. The program featured Dr. Louis Fisher of the Library of Congress Law Library and Dr. Patrice McDermott of  Openthegovernment.org, both speaking on the topic of "Current Issues with Access to Government Information." The event was a huge success with well over 100 attendees from across the U.S., many of whom were attending the Government Printing Office Federal Depository Library Conference. We will be posting a summary of the event on this blog in the near future.

Thanks again to our sponsors at Swets!
