| Working groups
| In order to support international co-operation and collaboration the
EWRS supports 'working groups' of scientists in specific disciplines
within weed science. These working groups aim to foster collaborative
experimentation as well as organising international meetings. The
structure of the working groups is continually under review to ensure
the greatest scientific benefit and the best use of resources.

| Ordinary members: any individual in Europe or elsewhere who is interested
in the Society. |
| Honorary members: distinguished persons who have made an outstanding
contribution to the objectives of the Society. |
| Affiliated members: national and international organizations in European and
elsewhere interested in weed research. |
| Sustaining members: organizations and individuals willing to provide
financial support for the Society at or above a level set by the Society. |
