Rep. Susan Davis Statement on F-18 Crash in San Diego
WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Susan Davis (D-San Diego) released the following statement on the crash on an F-18 in a San Diego neighborhood.
“I was deeply saddened to learn about the loss of life due to the crash of an F/A-18D aircraft in San Diego today near Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. My condolences go out to the family and friends of those who were victims of the crash and to those who are still missing as a result of this tragic accident. My thoughts are also with the pilots involved. I commend the San Diego Fire Department for their quick response to the crash site. I have been in contact with the U.S. Marine Corps and hope that this incident will be investigated with due haste.”
