What are Michigan Citizens Doing to Help Protect

Volunteers are actively carrying out Cooperative Monitoring Programs on Lakes, Streams/Rivers, and Watersheds throughout Michigan.

This web site is designed to show what volunteers are doing to protect Michigan's waters. 

 

It is with this in mind that the Michigan Lake and Stream Associations (MLSA) wishes to say "Thank You" to the many volunteers who are successfully carrying out monitoring programs throughout our State.

The artist for our logo is Phil Steele.  Phil is a member of the Painter Juno Christiana (PCJ) Lakes Association.  Phil is a retired, graphic artist for Bayer Corporation in Elkhart Indiana.  Phil is the Sampler for PJC in the Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program  (CLMP) as well as active on the Local Zoning Board.  Great Job Phil!
