Downloading Citrix Client Software to Access NASIS

USDA employees on a CCE system use instructions in section one. Non-USDA employees use instructions in section two.

Section 1 – Instructions for USDA employees to access NASIS from a Common Computing Environment (CCE) System

The “Citrix for NASIS” software is CCE certified and is available from the ITS Alerts SharePoint. See the “Software Certification Listing”. The “NASIS for Citrix” software is listed as Vendor “Citrix”, Title “ICA Client”, and Version “9.1.50”.

This web page is accessible to ITS support personnel only. Please contact your ITS support person for assistance in downloading and installing “Citrix version 9.1.50”.

When it asks you make some choices, take the defaults for everything EXCEPT when you get this screen:

Use the drop down arrow, and select “Entire feature will be unavailable” for both “Program Neighborhood Agent” and “Program Neighborhood” as shown above.

Click on Logging in to NASIS to continue with instruction on accessing NASIS.

Section 2 – Instructions for Non-USDA employees to download Citrix client software for accessing NASIS

The Citrix client software is available from the Citrix web site.

Click on “XenApp Plugin (new name for Client) - Version 11.000” as shown in the image above.

Click the “Download” button beside to XenApp Web Plugin Version 11.000 size 5.92MB.

Download Manager window.

Click the “click here” link to continue.

File Download window.

Click the “Run” button to install the plugin.

Take the defaults thru the installation until the installation is completed.

Click on Logging in to NASIS to continue with instructions on accessing NASIS.
