Re: America West and ALPA Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that America West Airlines and the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) reached a tentative contract agreement on December 22, 2002, covering the craft or class of Pilots. Mediation was guided by Mediator Fred Leif.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
