Re: Kansas City Southern and the BMWE Reach Tentative Agreements

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that two branches of Kansas City Southern (South and Mid-South) and the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees (BMWE) have reached tentative contract agreements.

Mediation began in August, 2001, and was guided by Mediator Dick Hanusz and Senior Mediator Larry Gibbons.

Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
