Re: UTU and the Delaware and Hudson Railway Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that the United Transportation Union Yardmasters' Department (UTU) and the Delaware and Hudson Railway reached a tentative contract agreement on August 28, 2002, covering the craft or class of Yardmasters. Mediation was guided by senior mediator Les Parmelee. Union membership ratification is expected by October 1, 2002.

Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
