Re: United/IAM Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- Contract talks held in Chicago between United Airlines and the International Association of Machinists (IAM), representing Passenger Service, Fleet Service, Flight Kitchen, and Security Officers, have resulted in a tentative agreement. The parties reached agreement while working with NMB Mediator Linda Puchala, who was assisted by NMB Mediator Rich Frey and NMB Chief of Staff Benetta Mansfield. The agreement will be submitted to the union membership for ratification.

Specific information regarding the terms of the agreement and the ratification process should be obtained directly from the parties.
