Re: Extension for Presidential Emergency Board Report

The Presidential Emergency Board investigating collective bargaining disputes between United Airlines, Inc., and its mechanics and related employees represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), has been granted an extension of the deadline to deliver its report. The PEB's deadline has been extended by the White House until Sunday, January 20, 2002.

The Presidentially appointed Board Members are: Helen M. Witt of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Chair), David P. Twomey of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and Ira F. Jaffe of Potomac, Maryland.
