RMI Government Receives May Compact Sector Grants

U.S. Embassy Majuro (May 29, 2008) - In the month of May the RMI Ministry of Finance has received Compact-funded payments from the United States Government totaling $4,370,093.  These payments were for Compact Sector Grants for the month of May, Compact infrastructure projects for the month of May, FY06 SEG, FY07 SEG, partial payment for a technical assistance grant for the Ministry of Finance, the Ebeye Stabilization Project, the balance of the U.S. matching contribution to the FY08 Infrastructure Maintenance Fund, and the Enewetak Food & Agriculture Program.  The breakdown of these payments is as follows:
