NIH Intramural Annual Report data entry

General Information
  • Please bookmark THIS page. Bookmarking pages inside the Reports application itself will not work - you'll get an error when you use such bookmarks.
  • To log in, you will need to have your NIH wide "network account" information, which includes your user name and password. The NIH Login should allow you to enter and edit your own Reports, or those for whom you act as a Project Assistant.
  • If you have problems logging in via NIH Login, please contact the NIH Help Desk at nihhelpdesk@mail.nih.gov or 301-594-6248.
  • There will be short maintenance periods (5 minutes) about 8 am, noon, and 3 pm every day.
If you are logged in at the time of the maintenance, you will need to re-login and start up your session again.
It's a good idea to log off prior to this time or else do not start editing until right after that time. If the server is restarted and you are in the middle of a page, none of your data will be affected EXCEPT for any changes you had made to the page you were currently on.
Log in for Principal Investigators, Lead investigators and Report Approvers    [NIH Login required]

Only Principal Investigators (PIs), Lead investigators (LIs), or Report approvers can log in using this link. Project Assistants should use the PA Login below.

Add a Project Assistant     [NIH Login required]

Project Assistants may:
  • Edit data for Annual Reports for PIs and LIs
  • Upload publication data to PubMed Central for PIs and LIs
  • Edit NIH mini-CV data (including bibliographic information) for PIs and LIs

Only PIs or LIs can use this function to add a Project Assistant.

Log in for Project Assistants     [NIH Login required]

Or if you aren't set up as a PA already, you may add yourself as a PA. As a security measure, this form sends a validation code to the PI via email. Once the PI gives you this information, you will have to return to this form to complete the process using the code provided.

Request a new project (Z01) number for FY2008     [NIH Login required]

Only Senior Investigators (tenured), Investigators (tenure-track), Adjunct Investigators, Senior Scientists/Clinicians or Staff Scientists/Clinicians may request a new project number.

"Split" a project into two or more projects     [NIH Login required]

You can only make this request if you have one or more active projects. This mechanism allows the duplication of all of the data in the current project to each of the "splits", saving the effort of re-entering much of the data as an entirely new Report. You then need to edit the data in each split out project appropriately.

Reviewing your own Annual Reports, past and present     [NIH Login required]

Search for reports

For any NIH researcher: This application identifies who you are, giving you the option to identify which of your own reports you retrieve (as a lead or as a collaborator).
If you are not listed on any Annual Reports then no results will be returned.
