Mission:
The Neurodegeneration cluster portfolio consists of research on the adult onset neurodegenerative diseases of all types, broadly focusing on the pathogenesis, treatment and prevention. Necessarily included is research on the normal structure and function of the neural systems to more readily identify intervention strategies. The role of the programmatic team is to develop, implement and manage these research programs and to promote the translation of research findings into clinical practice.
