Breastfed babies and teen weight


Elizabeth Goodman of Tufts-New England Medical Center says socially disadvantaged women face obstacles that make it harder for them to breastfeed.

"Socially disadvantaged women aren’t as likely to have the financial means to stay home with their child, the kinds of supportive job environments where they are able to pump – or have the time to do what’s necessary for them to maintain long-term breastfeeding behaviors." (14 seconds)
