The GeoCafe project offers innovative on-line information tools in support of specialty coffee production, certification, and marketing. It offers online coffee map services and coffee search tools that help coffee traders locate the type of bean they are looking for. Coupled with aerial photos and an assorted set of images, you can use the GeoCafe to make "virtual" visits to coffee farms and coffee regions without leaving the comfort of your living room or office. The GeoCafe has been developed with funding from the USAID Quality Coffee Program and it is implemented by the USGS National Center for Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS), CATIE and ICAFE (Costa Rica), ANACAFE (Guatemala), and IDIAF and CODOCAFE (Dominican Republic)."
