American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV)

Provides leadership and support for world zoos, aquariums and partner organizations in animal care and welfare, conservation, environmental education and global sustainability.

International Marine Animal Trainers' Association (IMATA)
IMATA is an organization dedicated to advancing marine animal care and handling. The organization serves as a tool for marine mammal trainers to exchange information through publications, conferences, and online discussions.

Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums (AMMPA)
An international association representing marine life parks, aquariums, zoos, research facilities, and professional organizations dedicated to the highest standards of care for marine mammals and to their conservation in the wild through public education, scientific study, and wildlife presentations.

International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators (IAATE)

Universities Federation for Animal Welfare (UFAW)

Association of British Wild Animal Keepers (ABWAK)
The British professional society for animal keepers that encourages professional development, organizes conferences and supports wildlife conservation.

British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA)
Provides links on to information on animal care, education, research and legislation as well as full-text proceedings from yearly conferences.
