Grants.gov Webcasts

Get Started with Grants.gov Webcast
Grants.gov is the only thing you need to apply for all Federal grants. If you're still not sure how to get started - how to obtain a DUNS number, register your organization with CCR, register yourself and get authorized as an AOR — then check out our Get Started with Grants.gov Webcast! Our online tutorial will cover our easy three-step registration process and help you get going with Grants.gov.

The Grants.gov Support staff are consistently friendly, professional and very helpful, even during the hectic days before our grant deadline. Our questions regarding the multi-step registration process, the PureEdge application packet program, submission errors and final confirmations were all handled correctly on the first try. Most often today, inadequate technical assistance is generally the norm. It is encouraging to know that Grants.gov is a pleasant exception.

"Spread the Word" Webcast
Many users across different grant communities are benefiting from easier access to the Federal government via Grants.gov - the single website unifying Federal grants across all Federal grant-making agencies. These communities include state, local and tribal governments, colleges and universities, not-for-profits and research institutions to name a few. Grants.gov continues to seek innovative ways to reach out to these communities.

"We want to get the word out about Grants.gov to as many organizations as possible. General awareness of Grants.gov is building due to marketing efforts and word-of-mouth buzz in the grant community."

- Rebecca Spitzgo, Grants.gov Program Manager

Review Webcast Questions & Answers:
April 21st Adobe PDF and March 9th Adobe PDF.
The Grants.gov "Spread the Word" Webcast targeted key partners supporting the grant communities ranging from Collaboration Partners and Congressional and Federal Policy Representatives to Agency Grant Program Offices and Grants Management Training Organizations. The purpose of the Webcast was to show different ways to elicit support and promote the understanding of Grants.gov within their grant communities focusing on Grants.gov features, benefits and successes; where Grants.gov is going; and ways to share this information.

Due to overwhelming response from nearly 4,000 partners from the March 9th "Spread the Word" Webcast, Grants.gov hosted a live encore Webcast presentation on April 21st. Along with the rebroadcast of the original aired presentation, the encore presentation included a live program update from the Grants.gov Program Management Team and an extended question and answer session. We encourage you to download and distribute the "Spread the Word" Webcast materials as tools for you to help spread the word to the communities you support.
