Free Trees and Plants.com

This project has 4 goals: 1. to eliminate a waste of trees, shrubs, bulbs and perennials. Plants from growers across the country are collected. 2. to benefit communities and individuals through the beautification, recreation and satisfaction of gardening. 3. to support employment of workers with disabilities 4 to develop a model, self-sustaining, program that does not futher deplete the already oerburded availablity of nonprofit funds.
The free plants are available to anyone who reserves them on our project website and pays $6.95 to cover pay for the workers, packaging materials and shipping. Each package always includes at least 2 plants of the same variet
Plants are given to anyone who will send shipping and processing. Free Trees and Plants.com is not a nonprofit charity.
Contributions or paid memberships are not asked for or accepted. Except for shipping and processing, Free Trees and Plants .com is a self-supporting project.
Distribution of the free plants is on a first reserved, first served basis.

Beneficial Bugs

Run by the state of California, Department of Pesticide Regulation, this site offers a wealth of information including information on beneficial bugs for the garden. Enter the words beneficial bugs in the search area at the top right corner of the home page. On next page click on General Predators. A list of items will appear with the letter C, M or U before a number. (C stands for Canadian sources, and M. for Mexican sources.) Click on any U number item for a list of all the resources that sell beneficial bugs in that category in the US.
