FTC Charges Marketers with Operating a Postal Job Scheme
The Federal Trade Commission has charged a nationwide marketing
operation with violating federal law by deceiving consumers into buying materials they thought would help
them get federal postal jobs. A federal judge has issued a preliminary order prohibiting the defendants from
misrepresenting that they are affiliated with, or endorsed by, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).
