Partnering on agriculture development projects
CSREES develops partnerships with a number of organizations as it works internationally. For example, we typically use funds that are provided to us by the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, or the Department of State to conduct programs overseas. In addition to the funding agencies, we often work in concert with USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service to develop and implement programs overseas. Just as importantly, we use funds that we receive to support partners from U.S. universities and colleagues as they implement internationally-focused extension, research and teaching programs. Such an extensive partnership network ensures that our programs meet our Nation's needs and are helpful overseas.
