Workshop on Digital Images for Biodiversity Studies

This workshop will cover the process of capture, management and Internet publication of digital images of natural history collection specimens and other images related to biodiversity research projects: icons, microscope slides, etc.

The subjects studied will include the equipment needed and its configuration (optics, light, etc), capture techniques, image processing and the (meta)data needed for internet publication.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own images that will be processed and published in a server especially installed for the workshop.

Languages of the workshop are Spanish and Portuguese.
