Sixth International Flora Malesiana Symposium

INTERNATIONAL FLORA MALESIANA SYMPOSIA The Flora Malesiana symposia provide a forum to report scientific research findings and progress on particular plant groups or areas, exchange ideas, and conduct workshops on approaches to enhancing and managing the Flora Malesiana Project. They also continue to serve as catalyst for significantly increasing publication of plant biodiversity information. An International Flora Malesiana Symposium is held every three years. The Sixth International Flora Malesiana Symposium is to take place in Los Baños, Philippines in September 2004. It is organised and hosted by the University of the Philippines - Los Baños and the National Museum of the Philippines. GBIF will be represented at the Symposium by Meredith Lane, Public and Scientific Liaison Officer of the GBIF Secretariat.
