Welcome to GBIF GB7 (post-meeting information)
Japan is pleased to host the seventh meeting of the Governing Board (GB7) of the
Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF). The Governing Board meeting, GBIF committee meetings,
and GBIF training courses will take place in Tsukuba, Japan, 3-7 October, 2003.
In conjunction with the meetings of the GBIF Governing Board and committees, the Joint
International Forum on Biodiversity Information: "Building Capacity in Asia and Oceania" will be held at the
same venue 4-10 October. Participants in GBIF GB7 are most welcome to attend the meetings of the
Joint International Forum on Biodiversity Information.
You will find an overview of the meeting activities under
'Programme Overview'. Please indicate your participation at these
meeting events by filling in the on-line registration form
for GBIF GB7 and/or GBIF training courses provided on this website.
Registering for GBIF GB7 and/or GBIF training courses also allows you to attend the
Joint International Forum on Biodiversity Information (that is, you do not need to register
separately to attend the Forum).
Please register early so that you can be assured that
you get all the email related to the meeting.
