Step 2: Register with grants.gov

HAVE YOU REGISTERED WITH GRANTS.GOV FOR AN ACCOUNT?
Enter the username and password you received when you registered with the Credential Provider to create a Grants.gov account to submit applications.

Register with Grants.gov:

PURPOSE OF THIS STEP:
You need to register with Grants.gov to obtain an account to submit applications and track the status of submitted applications.

HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE?
Same Day. You will be registered when you submit your information.

HOW DO I REGISTER WITH GRANTS.GOV?
Once you have received your username and password from Operational Research Consultants (ORC), Grants.gov’s credential provider, you will need to register with Grants.gov to complete the individual registration process.

Enter the username and password that you created during the ORC registration process. You will then be asked to provide your first and last name, phone number, email address and title. A default number will be pre-populated in the Data Universal Number System (DUNS) Number field. Once you finish and save the information at Grants.gov, you can use your username and password to submit applications at Grants.gov.

You are now ready to apply for individual grant opportunities!

Please be aware that you will ONLY be able to submit applications that are open to individuals. You will not be able to submit applications with your username and password to funding opportunities where organizations are the only eligible applicants.
