CDC developed a package of slates, sound bites with CDC subject matter experts, and B-roll for use by the broadcast media.
- Slates, or on-screen background information, give news directors accurate, CDC-cleared, news copy with health messages for use in a terrorism emergency.
- B-roll includes background footage.
- Sound bites were produced as news-style interviews in English and Spanish and are based on research with news directors in medium-to-large media markets.
