National Animal Health
Program Planning Workshop
CSREES partnered with the USDA Agricultural
Research Service for the National Animal
Health Program Planning Workshop, September
20-21, 2005, in Kansas City, MO. The workshop
solicited input from stakeholders, customers,
and partners in planning the direction of
the USDA intramural (ARS) and extramural
(CSREES) national research programs related
to animal health. The event included three
keynote addresses on animal health; commodity
and cross-cutting issues breakout groups,
used by participants to prioritize their
top issues; and a concluding plenary session
to share the participant feedback.
